Rajma

Ingredients to make Rajma

  • 1 bowl - Boiled rajma
  • 1 Cup - Onions
  • 1 Cup - Tomato puree
  • 1 tsp - Green chillie powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala

How to make Rajma

  1. Heat the oil in the kadhai, add jeera and when it crackles add green chilies, ginger and garlic.
  2. Add onion and saute till brown then add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
  3. Once the masala is cooked add the tomato puree. Pour little water and allow to cook for few minutes
  4. Now add rajma and a little water, lower the flame and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
  5. The rajma is ready to be served with hot rice
