Ingredients to make Baked Bread Basket

  • Brown Bread slices - 6
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tbs
  • Mustard Sauce - 2 tbs
  • salt as per taste
  • Sauteed Bell pepper - 1
  • Boiled potato - 1
  • Chickpeas - 1/2 Cup
  • Tomato Sauce - as required
  • Namkeen - Allu Bhujia for garnishing

How to make Baked Bread Basket

  1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile cut round slices of bread with the help of bowl. Remove the edges and roll the bread slices with a rolling pin to flatten them.
  3. Set these rolled bread slices on greased baking tray. Bake them at 180 degrees for 10 minutes till they become crisp.
  4. Meanwhile prepare the stuffing in a wok saute bell pepper, potatoes, boiled chick peas and salt. Mix mustard sauce and mayonnaise.
  5. When the bread basket is baked add the stuffing. Finally sprinkle some allu bhujia or any other namkeen and top it with tomato sauce. Serve hot.
My Tip: Keep an eye while baking bread slices as temperature varies from oven to oven.
