  1. Paneer / Cottage cheese – 1/2cup(approx 125gm) – I have use

  1. Crush the saffron & soak them in warm milk for 10mins..
  2. Today I have used store bought paneer, so I have just immersed in hot water for 15mins.. If you are making fresh paneer, then soaking is not required!! Just knead them until soft & crumble them.
  3. Take the sofetened paneer & crumble them in a mixie.. When done, transfer them to a kadai preferably a non-stick pan.. To this add in condensed milk, saffron milk & pinch of salt..
  4. Using a whisk, mix them well & then switch on the flame.. To this add in 1tsp of ghee & start stiring them in medium flame..
  5. After 7-8 mins the moisture would have been evaporated, it becomes thick & a whole mass is formed leaving the sides of the pan..
  6. When done,switch off the flame & add in cardamom powder. Mix them well, remove them in a plate & allow them to cool down completely..
  7. As they cool down, knead them well & start making ladoos… Arrange them in a cupcake liner & decorate it with saffron strands.
