Mango Mousse

Ingredients to make Mango Mousse

  • 2 cup Mango puree
  • 1 cup cream chilled
  • 1/8 cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp Gelatin
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Any sponge cake for base(optional)

How to make Mango Mousse

  1. Put Mango pulp,cinnamon and sugar in a pan.
  2. Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup luke warm water
  3. Heat mango on a low heat and stir well
  4. Now add soaked gelatin and stirring continuously till it reaches a coating consistency.
  5. remove from the heat and add lemon juice and mix well
  6. Now beat the cream with sugar for few minutes and fill it into piping bag.
  7. Now take a sponge cake ,cut in to round shape with the help of a cookie cutter, place it like a base.
  8. Now use the cookie cutter again and place it over cake and place a butter paper lining the cutter from inside.
  9. Now with the help of piping bag , pipe the cream and then mango mixture.
  10. Set in refrigerator until set.
  11. Garnished with cherry or chocolate chips and serve chilled

My Tip:

you can add sum yellow colour to make it more vibrant
