ABOUT garlic pulao with fried potaoes RECIPE

A delicious Sindhi combination which can be served as a complete meal.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice soaked 1 cup
  2. garlic finely chopped 1 pod
  3. green chillies finely chopped 4 nos
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Red chilli pwd 1 tsp
  6. Haldi 1 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves to garnish
  8. oil 2 tbsps
  9. FOR DEEP FRIED POTATOES
  10. potatoes cut in wedges 4 nos
  11. Oil for Deep frying
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Coriander pwd 1 tsp
  14. Red chilli pwd 1 tsp
  15. Haldi half tsp
  16. amchur a pinch

Instructions

  1. In heavy bottomed pan add oil .
  2. Add garlic ,saute till golden.
  3. Then add green chillies and haldi,red chilli pwd
  4. (optional step) u can add veggies of ur choice at this point like peas carrot.
  5. Then add water 2 cups.
  6. Add salt and soaked rice.
  7. cook on high flame till little water is left.
  8. Cover and cook on slow flame keeping weight for 10 minutes
  9. Serve hot.
  10. FOR POTATOES
  11. Deep fry potatoes by adding salt
  12. Take out potatoes in another Kadai.
  13. Add all masala n saute on slow flame for few seconds.
  14. Serve with garlic pulao
