Cornflakes Chicken

Ingredients to make Cornflakes Chicken

  • For marination:
  • 2 tablespoon hung curd
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon dhanya powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • Salt as required
  • Kasuri Methi
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 250 gms chicken
  • For coating:
  • Cornflakes
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder
  • Little maida
  • 1 egg
  • Oil for frying

How to make Cornflakes Chicken

  1. In a bowl add curds, chaat masala, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, dhanya powder, garam masala.
  2. Add Kasuri methi.
  3. Add cleaned chicken pieces.
  4. Mix well. Marinate it for 2 hours in refrigerator.
  5. In a bowl add cornflakes and crush it with fingers. Add pinch of salt and red chilli powder. Mix well.
  6. Add an egg in a bowl. Beat it well.
  7. Now take the marinated pieces and coat it in maida.
  8. Now egg wash it and coat it with cornflakes. Prepare 5 to 6 pieces of the same (make batch).
  9. Deep fry the prepared chicken batch in oil till golden brown.
  10. Serve it with tomato sauce.
My Tip: Use tender chicken. Marinate it for atleast 2 hours for the chicken to pick up the spices.
