About Coconut biscuits Recipe

These biscuits are simple and tempting, it can easily blend with any occassion be it afternoon tea, kitty parties or even birthdays!

Coconut biscuits

Ingredients to make Coconut biscuits

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup coconut flakes (toasted)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup milk

How to make Coconut biscuits

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk and coconut until a soft dough forms.
  2. Mix this well, then roll the dough into balls and press it flat between your palms.
  3. Bake it in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until it turns into a beautiful golden colour.
  4. Once cooked, keep the biscuits out and let them cool for a while.

What is the approximate baking time for normal biscuits and what should be the temperature? I feel 15 minutes wasn't enough.

hi sabrin, I tried it and it looks nice I used wheat flour taste good too I think coconut quantity is less and I used salted butter and I add 1 tsp salt as mention so it's Lil bit more salty ..
