ABOUT Khoya Chicken RECIPE

This is a chicken curry with difference !! Addition of khoya gives the extra deliciousness to it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken 800gm
  2. Khoya 150gm
  3. Fresh cream 1/2 cup
  4. Cashew nuts paste 1/2 cup
  5. Ginger-garlic paste 4 tablespoons
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Red chilli powder 1 tablespoons
  9. Garam masala powder 2 teaspoons
  10. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  12. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  13. Tomato sauce 2 tablespoons
  14. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  15. Cinnamon Sticks 2-3
  16. Green Cardamom 2-3

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste and salt for an hour.
  2. Take a pan and heat the mustard oil. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, green cardamom.
  3. Add onion paste, cream, cashew nuts paste and mix.
  4. Add chicken and mix well.
  5. Next add all the masala powders and mix well.
  6. Add water and bring it to boil.
  7. Lastly add khoya.
  8. When the gravy is thick serve hot.
