Chicken Sambal

Ingredients to make Chicken Sambal

  • Chicken 4 legs
  • Small onion 5 peeled
  • Garlic 5 cloves
  • Red dry chilly or pulpy red chilly 10
  • Vinegar to soak chilly 1 cup
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp optional
  • Tomato sauce 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp

How to make Chicken Sambal

  1. Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, soya sauce salt and pepper for 10 min
  2. Then coarsely grind chilly and vinegar ( You can store this )
  3. In a wok add oil to fry the chicken legs and keep aside add onion-garlic paste
  4. Add chilly paste sauté till the oil ooze out add tomato sauce sugar and sauté.Add chicken let the gravy coat it and become dry remove from fire. Garnish with spring onion
