Chapati Choora

Ingredients to make Chapati Choora

  • Chapatis 4 nos
  • Onion 1 nos
  • Curry leaves 5-6 nos
  • Chilli powder 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2tsp
  • Roasted groundnut powder 2 tbsp
  • Refined Oil 2 Tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/4tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/4tsp
  • Salt and sugar according to taste
  • Coriander leaves and pomegranate for garnishing

How to make Chapati Choora

  1. Coarsely grind the chapati in mixer and keep aside
  2. Heat refined oil in kadhai, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds sputter add curry leaves.
  3. Now add finely chopped onion.mix well, cook till onion turn translucent.
  4. At this stage add chili powder, garam masala powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
  5. Now add the Coarsely ground chapatis. Saute till all of the gets mixed well.
  6. Sprinkle some water.and close it with a lid. Let it cook for 2 mins.
  7. Now open the lid add groundnut powder, lemon juice. Mix well.
  8. Finally, take out in a serving bowl and top it up with freshly chopped coriander and pomegranate. Serve hot.
My Tip: Instead of using chilli powder and garam masala powder, kanda Lasun masala can be used.
