ABOUT Karthigai Appam RECIPE

This is the sweet portion made out of the Wheat Flour..

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cups wheat flour
  2. 1 cup smashed banana
  3. 1 and Half cup Grated Jagery
  4. 1 tbsp Elachi
  5. Oil enough to fry the dish

Instructions

  1. Start by smashing the bananas.
  2. Into this add wheat flour and grated jaggery in a big mixer.
  3. Add some water say 1 cup, and grind the mixture to a fine paste.
  4. Add in the elachi.
  5. In a small non stick pan with holes on it to cook the dish, we call as paniyaram pan, add enough oil, and a spoonful of the batter and allow to cook on either sides.
  6. The dish is ready.
