Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Sesame or til 1/4 cup
  2. 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  3. 3/4 cup gud or jaggery
  4. 3/4 cup water
  5. Rajgeera (seual or ramdhana) 1 cup
  6. 1/2 green cardamom pd
  7. 1 tsp mixed chopped nuts
  8. 8-10 kishmish
  9. Butter or oil for greasing aluminium foil

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan, add the jaggery and water, boil and simmer it to make a 2 string syrup.
  2. Keep it on a low flame for 10 minutes
  3. Take another pan dry roast the sesame seeds in it and keep it aside.
  4. Now dry roast desiccated coconut
  5. When chashni/syrup is ready put til coconut and Rajgeera into it
  6. Put kishmish and ilaichi powder [cardamom powder] and chopped nuts in it
  7. Mix it well. Now take a tray put greased aluminium foil in it
  8. Pour mixture in it and set it
  9. Put some coconut flakes and some dry fruits on it and press lightly
  10. Let it get cooled. When its cool enough, cut into pieces length wise or you can make ladoos as well out of it.
  11. It is ready to be served.
