Soya Nankatais

Ingredients to make Soya Nankatais

  • 125 gms soya flour
  • 125 gms whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp soda bi carb
  • Curds 1 tbsp
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Jaiphal powder 1/4 tsp
  • Elaichi powder 1/4 tsp
  • White homemade butter 1 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Pinch of salt

How to make Soya Nankatais

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, mix well using your fingertips till it resembles breadcrumbs. Add approx 2 tbsp of cold water and knead the dough.
  2. Divide the dough in to 20 equal portions. Roll into a ball and flatten between your palms. Place them in the lined baking tray.
  3. Preheat OTG at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Place the nankatai tray and bake it at 140 degrees for about 18-20 minutes till they are light golden brown.
  4. Cool and store in airtight container.
