ABOUT kadhai paneer RECIPE

kadhai paneer made with lots of onions and spices, a perfect curry to be served with some roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. paneer-500 grams
  2. capsicum-2 (green), red-1, yellow -1
  3. onion -3 medium
  4. tomato-3 medium
  5. Curd-2 tbsp
  6. turmeric powder-1 tsp,
  7. roasted species-whole coriander (1tbsp),red chilli (1-2),jeera(1tsp),
  8. Garam Masala

Instructions

  1. cut one onion in cubes and 2 finely chop
  2. cut the capsicum and bell peppers in thin slices
  3. add refined oil or ghee in a kadhai, add jeera then whole coriander seeds, let it crackle. then add finely sliced onions
  4. add little salt to cook it little fast
  5. now add tomato purée or paste in it , u can add red chilli powder and turmeric powder before tomato purée, it gives a good colour.mix well cook it for 5 minutes
  6. dry roast whole coriander, jeera and red chilli .let it cool and grind
  7. mix the ground masala into the tomato masala, mix well
  8. cook until oil starts getting separated, then add sliced capsicum, bell peppers and cubed onion
  9. cook well, now add some water and mix well
  10. make a well in between and put the whisked curd,mix well
  11. add pinch of garam masala and cubes paneer in it
  12. cook for 2 minutes and off the flame
  13. serve with parantha
