Khandeshi Red Chutney/ Nistyachi Chutney

Ingredients to make Khandeshi Red Chutney/ Nistyachi Chutney

  • Whole red chillies 4
  • onion 1 medium
  • Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves 1 cup
  • Turmeric 1/2 inch
  • Jaggery 1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves 4-5
  • Coriander seeds 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Tempering: cumin and mustard seeds, asafotida

How to make Khandeshi Red Chutney/ Nistyachi Chutney

  1. Take all ingredients
  2. Roast red chillies on tawa
  3. Roast onion till brown on tawa
  4. Blend them all together with other ingredients to smooth paste in grinder. Add a little water to make paste.
  5. Heat oil in a vessel
  6. Add tempering of cumin and mustard seeds and asafotida
  7. Add ground chutney and mix well
  8. Add Salt as per taste
  9. Boil once and remove from flame and serve.
