Mutton Chop Fry (Green Masala)

Ingredients to make Mutton Chop Fry (Green Masala)

  • 500 gms mutton chops
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tspn Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tblsp coriander powder
  • 4-5 green chillies
  • 1 tblspn Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Handful of coriander and mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tblspn curd
  • ½ lemon
  • 2 Eggs for coating
  • Bread crums or rava powder for coating
  • salt as needed

How to make Mutton Chop Fry (Green Masala)

  1. Except curd, lemon and mutton chops. Grind all other ingredients in a mixture
  2. Drain all the water from the mutton chops and add the masala paste including lemon and curd
  3. Marinate the mutton in the refrigerator for an hour or more.
  4. Add mutton chops to the eggs and coat it with bread crums and fry
  5. Cook on full flame until its slight brown in colour. Now reduce the flame and cook it for another 10-12 mins or until its cooked.
My Tip: Marinate the meat for longer time which will make it more tender.
