This recipe has everything. Heart healthy Oats, protein from Sprouts and Chicken ( for non vegetarians), Sooji, Wheat flour and Gram flour, Spinach( Leafy Vegetable,) Carrot ( other Vegetable), Potato ( root), and Milk and Cheese. What else we need as a Complete Meal ?

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Cheese sauce.
  2. Milk 2 cups
  3. Water 1/2 cup
  4. Butter / Clarified butter 3 teaspoon
  5. Wheat flour 2 teaspoon
  6. Cheese Cubes grated 2
  7. Carrot grated 1 tablespoon
  8. Beans stir fried 2 tablespoon
  9. Dried Parsley 1 tablespoon
  10. Salt and pepper to taste
  11. For Dumplings
  12. Oats 1/2 bowl
  13. Milk 1 bowl
  14. Water 1/2 bowl.
  15. Potato 1 ( boiled)
  16. Spinach Chopped 1/ 2 cup
  17. Carrot grated 1/2 cup
  18. Mixed Sprouts ( I took Chana + Math ( Moth) 1 cup
  19. Gram flour 2 tablespoon
  20. Sooji 3 tablespoon
  21. Garlic crushed 1 teaspoon
  22. Ginger grated 1 teaspoon
  23. Salt to taste
  24. Chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  25. Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  26. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  27. Sesame seeds roasted 1 tablespoon
  28. Curd 3 teaspoon
  29. Oil 2 tablespoon
  30. Boiled Chicken / Chicken nuggets chopped 1 bowl

Instructions

  1. To make Cheese Sauce:
  2. Heat butter / clarified butter in a pan, add wheat flour.
  3. Stir for 2 minutes. Add hot milk + half cup Water. ( we don't want very thick sauce)
  4. Let the sauce boil, season with salt and pepper. Turn the gas off. Keep the sauce aside.
  5. Now mix water and milk with oats and transfer in a pan to cook. Let them cook for 5 to 7 minutes stirring in between. Let the mixture get thick.
  6. Now take a plate. Take chopped spinach. Coarse grind the sprouts and add.
  7. Now add sooji, gram flour and cooked oats.
  8. Add grated carrot and all masala mentioned. Add curd and oil. Adjust salt. Add chopped coriander leaves.
  9. Mix everything and form a dough. Add water only if required.
  10. Now make dumplings and steam for 8 to 10 minutes or till the toothpick comes clear.
  11. Now your dumplings are ready, your cheese sauce is ready. Add grated carrots and grated cheese to the sauce.
  12. Here is your cheese sauce.
  13. Now we will serve them. Take steamed dumplings in a serving plate.
  14. Pour cheese sauce over it.
  15. Now spread some more cheese sauce, spread sauted beans.
  16. Microwave for 30 seconds.
  17. Serve with garnish of parsley.
  18. To make non vegetarian version add boiled chicken pieces or chopped chicken nuggets while serving. ( I have used Chicken nuggets to give a little crunch.
