ABOUT Jaggery Batasha Payesh RECIPE

A milk based kheer made from Jaggery batasha...An unusual combination... :blush:

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 litre Full fat milk
  2. 250 grams Govind Bhog Rice(new one)
  3. Jaggery (Gud) Batasha accordingly
  4. 5 tablespoon Milkmaid
  5. 2-3 bay leaf
  6. 1 tablespoon Green cardamom powder
  7. Few Dryfruits (rasins, almonds, cashews)

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk and then put in washed rice.
  2. After few minutes add the bay leaves and stir. Keep on stirring in between.
  3. let the rice cook properly in the milk. Once the rice is cooked put cardamom powder and 5 tablespoon milkmaid.
  4. Stir now, put batasha according to your taste
  5. If you wish you can add kewda.
  6. Now put some dry fruits and keep few for garnishing.
