Ingredients to make THANDAI SANDWHICH

  • FOR COVERING: 200 gram malai paneer
  • 1 tablespoon maida
  • 1/2 teaspoon saffron yellow colour (optional)
  • FOR RABDI : 1/2 cup full fat milk
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 3 tablespoon milkmaid
  • 2 tablespoon thandai syrup
  • 2 tablespoon dryfruits (halfcrushed)
  • 1 teaspoon cardamon powder
  • FOR FILLING; 3 tablespoon grated khoya
  • 2 tablespoon paneer grated
  • 2 tablespoon dryfruits (half crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon cardamon powder
  • 2 tablespoon thandai syrup

How to make THANDAI SANDWHICH

  1. FOR COVERING: Grate malai paneer, mix maida and saffron yellow colour. Make it smooth in a mixer and knead it properly. Take a dhokla thali, grease with ghee, spread paneer mixture like thin roti and steam in steamer for 5 minutes.
  2. FOR FILLING: Mix all the ingredients of filling and set aside.
  3. FOR RABDI : Mix all ingredients of rabdi. Let it cool in fridge.
  4. ASSEMBLING: Make rectangle cuts (or give a shape of your serving bowl) on steamed paneer. Center it with filling, like a sandwich.
  5. In serving bowl , pour rabdi, set paneer stuffed sandwich, again pour rabdi on it. Garnish with dryfruits and cardamom powder.
  6. Freeze it for 5 to 6 hours. Serve chilled.
