Umm Ali Or Ormali

Ingredients to make Umm Ali Or Ormali

  • 5 Puff pastry sheets
  • ½ liter Milk
  • 1 tin Puck cream or heavy cream
  • ĵ cup Butter
  • 1 tin Condensed milk or sugar as per taste
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon powder or vanilla essence
  • ĵ cup Raisins
  • ĵ cup Almonds chopped
  • ĵ cup Pistachios chopped
  • 1 tbsp Desiccated coconut

How to make Umm Ali Or Ormali

  1. Preheat the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. Bake the puff pastry sheets for 20 minutes till puffed up and crispy.
  2. Grease a bake tin. Tear the puff sheets and put in the bake tin. Now in a sauce pan mix milk, cream, butter and essence or cinnamon powder and bring it to a boil. Pour this milk over the puff sheets.
  3. Sprinkle the raisins, nuts and desiccated coconut over it. Bake this in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 to 25 minutes.
