Ingredients to make Savory Vegetable Pan Cake

  • Grated zucchini 1/2 cup
  • Grated Dudhi 1/2 cup
  • grated carrots 1/2 cup
  • Grated sweet corn 1/2 cup
  • Rawa (suji) 1 cup
  • Oats 1/2 cup
  • besan flour 1/4 cup
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Dhaniya jeera powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Asafodita
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 tsp eno powder
  • 1 Tbs oil for tadaka
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

How to make Savory Vegetable Pan Cake

  1. Grated all vegetables.
  2. Take all flour in a mixing bowl and mix them.
  3. Add all spices (Dhaniya jeera powder, red chilli powder, turmeric, asafodita, salt, sugar) crud and 1 tbs oil in the flour mixture.
  4. Add grated vegetables and add water to make batter and adjust consistency. Rest the batter for 5 minutes.
  5. Add 1 tsp of eno give a good stir.
  6. Take 1 tbs of oil in a kadhai for tadaka. Add mustard seeds and sesame seeds and make tadaka.
  7. Add the half batter in the pan. Cook on slow flame.
  8. Cover it with lid. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  9. Open the lid and flip the pan cake with the help of spatula and again cook for 3 to 4 minutes on slow flame.
  10. Serve hot with the tea coffee or hot chocolate to your kids.
  11. With the help of this batter you can make 2 pan cakes.

My Tip:

You can even decorate same with pizza sauce and grated cheese and cut in the pizza veggies to your kids.
