About Neer Dosa (Cucumber) Recipe

Neer Dosa (Cucumber)

Ingredients to make Neer Dosa (Cucumber)

  • 2 cups raw rice (sona masuri)
  • 3 tender small cucumbers/ 1 1/2 dark green cucumber
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 3 tbsps jaggery
  • 1/2 green chilli
  • 4-5 sprigs of corriander
  • salt to taste

How to make Neer Dosa (Cucumber)

  1. Soak the rice for 4-5 hours. Grind with all the other ingredients. Batter should be that of neer dosa/ pancake thin consistency.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan and grease it with the help of an onion. When the pan is very hot, pour a laddleful of batter and spread it evenly on all sides with the help of the handle.
  3. Close with the lid and cook till the Dosa leaves the sides of the pan. Fold into two halves as shown in the picture.
  4. Serve with chutney/ any pulses gravy.
