About Besan ke ladoo Recipe

This is a tasty and beautiful festive sweet of India.

Besan ke ladoo

Ingredients to make Besan ke ladoo

  • besan - 1 cup
  • ghee- 1/2 cup (a little less if you wish)
  • Powdered sugar- 1/2 cup (a little less if you wish)
  • A pinch of elaichi powder
  • Few sliced almonds to garnish

How to make Besan ke ladoo

  1. Heat the ghee in a pan and make it very hot. Add the besan and continue stirring continuously.
  2. Roast the besan till you get a nice aroma. Turn off the gas and add the powdered sugar and elaichi powder.
  3. Continue stirring while the besan is still warm. Start making the ladoos very tightly, add a slice of almond on top of the ladoo and press tightly.
  4. Serve warm or let it cool and store in an airtight container.

My Tip:

Note that the ladoos will be soft, but will harden once they cool down completely.
