Spicy baby potato pops

Ingredients to make Spicy baby potato pops

  • 10 baby potaoes
  • 1/ 4 cup curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanut
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1tsp coriander seeds
  • Some toothpics
  • Salt to taste

How to make Spicy baby potato pops

  1. Wash and boil baby potatoes in water for 10 minutes . Till they turn soft but not Mash in texture .
  2. Cool and peel baby potatoes . Wash curry leaves and dry them with cloth or napkin .
  3. Heat a nonstick pan and dry roast whole red chilli and coriander seeds. Keep it aside .
  4. Add 1 tsp oil in a pan and fry curry leaves till they turn dry and crisp for about 5 -6 minutes .
  5. Take a blender and add roasted chilli and coriander seeds , curry leaves and roasted peanut and grind it coarse powder .
  6. Heat rest of oil in a pan add sesame seeds and let it splutter . Add salt as per taste and coarsely grind powder in it and mix all ingredients well .
  7. Add peeled potatoes in the pan and stir well to coat each potato with spices mix . Take the pan off and insert the tooth pic to each potato and serve hot .
My Tip: In original recipe used began gram instead of peanut so u can try this recipe with bengal gram too .
