Homemade Cheesy Potato Wedges..

Ingredients to make Homemade Cheesy Potato Wedges..

  • Potatoes large 4
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 a tsp
  • Italian seasoning 1 tsp
  • Dry parsley flakes 1 tbsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • OR
  • Blackpepper powder 1 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese shredded 1 1/2 cups
  • Oil for frying about 3 cups

How to make Homemade Cheesy Potato Wedges..

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
  2. Cut them into wedges of almost 1" thickness.
  3. Soak them in ice cold water for about 30 minutes.
  4. Take them out on a kitchen towel and pat dry after 30 minutes.
  5. Switch on the gas and heat oil in a kadai.
  6. After the oil nearly gets heated up, add in all the ingredients to the potato wedges and toss well.
  7. Deep fry them immediately on a medium to high flame.
  8. Keep turning every now and then while frying.
  9. Do not leave it unattended. It is an important step.
  10. Deep fry until light golden in colour and drain on an absorbent kitchen towel or a napkin.
  11. Sprinkle loads of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  12. Enjoy with your loved ones.

My Tip:

As soon as the oil gets heated up, deep fry them immediately as potatoes have a tendency of losing water.
