About Miso Soup Recipe

a traditional Japanese soup made from a stock of Dashi and miso paste.

Miso Soup

Ingredients to make Miso Soup

  • 8 cups water
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dashi granules
  • 1/4 cup Miso paste
  • 1 tbs Dried seaweed
  • 1/2 cup cubes Tofu
  • 2 tbs Green onion

How to make Miso Soup

  1. Spoon the miso paste into a bowl and add about 1/2 cup of dashi-broth and whisk till miso paste dissolves and it becomes a smooth mixture
  2. Bring the water to boil in a pot. Add the dashi and whisk till it dissolves.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add tofu.
  4. Add seaweed and simmer for 2 mins.
  5. Now add the miso into the pot and stir well.
  6. Garnish with green onion and serve hot.
