Rava chocolate cake

Ingredients to make Rava chocolate cake

  • Rava - 1 cup
  • Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • yoghurt - 1/2 cup
  • olive oil - 1/2 cup
  • vanilla essence - 1/2 teaspoon.
  • powdered sugar - 1 cup
  • milk - 1/4 cup
  • a pinch of salt
  • tutty fruity or dry fruits - as needed

How to make Rava chocolate cake

  1. In a bowl, sieve wheat flour, rava, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder and keep aside. In another bowl, add oil, yogurt, milk, powdered sugar and mix well so that there are no lumps formed.
  2. Mix the dry and wet ingredients till it gets well incorporated in it.
  3. Transfer the cake batter in a microwave safe dish and microwave on high for approximately 6 minutes.
  4. If baking in an oven, preheat the oven for 10 minutes and bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.
  5. Garnish with cashew nuts and almonds.
My Tip: You can replace sugar with jaggery.
