Fenugreek chicken

Ingredients to make Fenugreek chicken

  • Chicken - 1/2 kg
  • Oil as required
  • Hung curd - 1 Cup
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Lemon 1
  • Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Onion chopped - 2
  • Dried fenugreek leaves - 1 cup
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

How to make Fenugreek chicken

  1. In a pan add oil, onion, green chillies, chicken, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric, salt, chilli powder, hung curd and dried methi.
  2. Add some water to cook, let it cook for a few minutes and keep the lid on the pan. This takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Check and then garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
My Tip: Add the dried fenugreek before adding water.
