ABOUT HEALTHY METHI SPROUTS SALAD WITH HONEY LEMON JUICE DRESSING RECIPE

Consuming methi (fenugreek) everyday in some form or the other is really beneficial for healthy living specially for diabetics. You can make these methi sprouts easily at home. make a salad, raita or just add them to your curries everyday.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Methi sprouts ... 1/2 cup
  2. Cucumber ........ 1/2 cup (diced)
  3. Capsicum ........ 1/4 cup (diced)
  4. Tomato ............ 1/4 cup (diced after removing the seeds)
  5. Corn kernels ................ 1/4 cup (boiled)
  6. Pomegranate seeds .. 1/4 cup
  7. Coriander leaves .. handful (finely chopped)
  8. Garlic cloves ...... 2-3 (diced finely)
  9. Roasted peanuts ... 1 tbsps (crushed)
  10. Honey ............... 1 tbsp
  11. Lemon juice ...... 2 tbsps
  12. Roasted and crushed cumin seeds .. 1/2 tsp
  13. Salt ............... to taste
  14. Olive oil ... 1 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. To make methi sprouts soak the methi overnight with just enough water to cover it.
  2. In the morning put them in a wet muslin cloth.
  3. Keep sprinkling water on the cloth as soon as it dries up.
  4. It takes 3 days for the sprouts to grow well.
  5. Now combine the ingredients before serving and add the salt, honey, lemon. juice.
  6. Mix the peanuts just before eating for the crunchiness.
