Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Pumpkin paste-1 cup( boiled and blended into purée)
  2. Milk- 1 litre
  3. Agar agar powder- 1 pack
  4. Sugar-1 cup
  5. Almonds-20
  6. Cardamom-3
  7. Vanilla essence-5 drops
  8. Cinnamon powder- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil pumpkin pieces in pressure cooker for 3 whistles and blend into a smooth paste along with almonds, sugar, cardamom.
  2. In a heavy bottomed vessel, boil milk. Now add the pumpkin purée and mix well in slow flame.
  3. Now add vanilla essence and stir once.
  4. Now while adding agar agar powder into milk, we should keep stirring the milk to avoid lumps.
  5. Bring it to a boil ( it takes only 5 to 7 min)
  6. Now switch off the flame and pour into desired mould
  7. Let it set for 2 to 3 hours. Now refrigerate it for at least 6 hours.
  8. With cookie cutter, we can cut desired shape and serve as dessert.
