Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Kheel 3 glasses
  2. Oil 2 tbsp
  3. Mustard seed 1/2 tesp
  4. Whole red chilli 2
  5. Curry leaves 1 sprig
  6. Onions 2
  7. Peas 2 tbsp
  8. Carrot chopped 2 tbsp
  9. Boiled potato 1
  10. Capsicum chopped 2 tbsp
  11. Salt 3/4 tesp
  12. Red chilli powder 1/2 tesp
  13. Garam masala 1/4 tesp
  14. Turmeric powder 1/2 tesp
  15. Green coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  16. Masala peanuts 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. WASH KHEEL IN A LARGE POT.
  2. DRAIN THE KHEEL.
  3. DRAIN THE KHEEL.
  4. REST IT FOR TEN MINUTES.
  5. HEAT OIL IN A WOK. SPLUTTER MUSTARD SEEDS.
  6. ADD WHOLE RED CHILLI AND CURRY LEAVES. ROAST.
  7. ADD CHOPPED ONION. ROAST LIGHTLY.
  8. ADD BOILED PEAS, BLANCHED CARROTS, DICED POTATOES AND CAPSICUM.
  9. SAUTE FOR A MINUTE.
  10. ADD SALT, RED CHILLI POWDER, GARAM MASALA.
  11. ADD TURMERIC POWDER AND GREEN CORIANDER LEAVES.ROAST FOR A WHILE.
  12. ADD MILK.
  13. ADD SOAKED KHEEL.
  14. TOSS WELL.
  15. COOK COVERED FOR 2 MINUTES ON SIM.
  16. GARNISH WITH MASALA PEANUTS.
