Chicken with Mushroom sauce

Ingredients to make Chicken with Mushroom sauce

  • Chicken breast whole 1
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped or powder 2 tsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • For mushroom sauce :
  • Mushroom thinly sliced 7
  • (Flour) Maida 1 tsp
  • Parsley a little
  • Cheese 1 cube
  • Milk 1 1/2 cup
  • Dried basil 1 tsp
  • Chilly flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Mix herbs 1/2 tsp

How to make Chicken with Mushroom sauce

  1. Marinate the chicken breast with olive oil, oregano, basil, salt, garlic chopped or powder and chilly flakes.
  2. Keep it in the freezer for around 45 minutes.
  3. For the sauce:
  4. Saute the mushroom with little butter. Let all the moisture evaporate.
  5. In another pan heat some butter, then add maida/flour.
  6. Saute and stir for around 2 minutes.
  7. Add the milk, stir it. It will start to thicken.
  8. Add basil, if you want it spicy then you can add the chilly flakes now.
  9. When it becomes thick, add the sauteed mushroom and parsley.
  10. For the chicken, heat butter in a pan add a little oil.
  11. Add the chicken breast whole and let it cool. When you will see a nice golden colour then cook on the other side.
  12. When done. Place chicken breast in a plate and pour the mushroom sauce. Serve hot.
