ABOUT Chineese samosa RECIPE

It's a fusion of the Indian snack samosas and chineese noodles. So enjoy crisp samosas with spicy soft noodles inside.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the Covering:
  2. Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
  3. Apf - 1 cup
  4. Red Chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
  5. Butter / ghee - 3 tbsp
  6. Water - 1/2 cup
  7. For the filling:
  8. Cooked Hakka noodles - 1 cup
  9. Carrot - 1 cup grated
  10. Capsicum - 1/2 shredded
  11. Cabbage - 2 cups( thinly shredded)
  12. Ginger - 1 inch grated
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Pepper - 1 tsp or more
  15. Sauces :
  16. Green Chilli sauce - 2 tbsp
  17. Tomatoe sauce-2 tbsp
  18. Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  19. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. For the covering:
  2. Mix the related ingredients and bind into a stiff dough with around 1/2 cup water mentioned. Cover and keep aside
  3. Now for the stuffing take 2 to 3 tbsps of oil in a pan and add the grated ginger first and saute
  4. Now add the vegetables one by one in order. First the carrot stir fry on high, then the capsicum continue to stir fry on high. Then goes the cabbage
  5. Add the salt and pepper for seasoning
  6. Continue to stir fry. Add the cooked noodles
  7. Add the Sauces and stir fry. Switch off the gas and let cool
  8. Keep oil to fry samosas
  9. Now pinch lemon size balls from the dough and roll into semi thin chapatis.
  10. Cut into half and apply water on the cut side and fold into samosa cone. Add sufficient stuffing
  11. Seal edges with water and make all samosas similarly. I got around 15 samosas.
  12. Now fry the samosas in batches of 3 or 4 at a time in medium to low flame turning them few times.
  13. Dive into these tasty chineese samosas and enjoy your tea time.
