ABOUT SPICY PIYAJI (ONION FRITTERS ) RECIPE

Spicy Piyaji or peyaji is a very local team used specially in Bengal . This is another awesome snack recipe in West Bengal ....... which is also very famous in various parts of India in different name .....

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onion finely chopped - 2 large
  2. Green chilli chopped - 5 - 7 no
  3. Gram flour - 2 tablespoons
  4. All purposes flour - 2 tablespoons
  5. Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Garlic chopped or grated - 1tablespoons
  8. Finely chopped coriander leaves - 3 tablespoons
  9. Oil for deep fried
  10. Water - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients to make the mixture lighter . We have to make the mixture little solid , so that we give a shape of Piyaji .
  2. Now heat oil for deep fried in a large pan . Make sure the oil is enough hot before putting the Piyaji for frying .
  3. Next , take small part of the dough in hand and then press them to spread a little and then put into the hot oil . One by one or put couple together .
  4. With a spatula change the side of each piyaji carefully and fry them till they turn dark . Make sure they are not over fried .
  5. Now soak the oil in a tissue paper and serve hot .
  6. Crunchy and Crispy Piyaji is ready to eat , have fun with family and friends :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:
