ABOUT Pujabi Samosa RECIPE

Samosa is a potato stuffed deep fried tea time snack that is very popular not only in India but also across Asian countries.Samosa is one of the most commonly eaten snack across India. I am sharing the samosa recipe with potato stuffing, street food, party snack, restaurants and even in cafes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Flour plain/ maida -2 cup
  2. 1/4 ghee / melted oil
  3. Salt as neede
  4. 1tsp carom seed
  5. Peas-1/2 cup
  6. 1/2 lukewarm water
  7. 1 tsp chopped ginger , garlic
  8. Onion -1/2 cup chopped
  9. Pinch of hing / astefoedia
  10. 1/2tsp garam masala
  11. Red chilli powder -1/2tsp
  12. Amchur-1/2tsp
  13. Chopped coriander leaves
  14. Panchforan-1/2 tsp
  15. Green chillies chopped -1 tsp
  16. Oil for deep fry
  17. For green chutney,
  18. Garlic -1 spoon
  19. Chillies green -4
  20. Salt as needed
  21. Lemon juice 2-3 drops

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes ,peel don't mash them crumble set aside .
  2. In a bowl add flour add salt azwain, ghee and kned properly adding Lukewarm water .
  3. Cover the dough with wet cloth and set aside
  4. In hot oil add panch foran green chillies pinch of Hing ,red chilli powder and ginger garlic fry it .
  5. Add peas, dry fruits (here only added casehwes nd rasins) fry it .
  6. Add crumble potatoes , salt , amchur , garam masala powder and cook for 5 min.and add coriander leaves.
  7. Cool the mixture .
  8. Make 5-10 round balls cover with ghee or boil
  9. Roll in oval shape, cut to two halves.
  10. Smear the water on two edges and cover the edges and make cone and fill potatoes filling and sealed it .
  11. In a hot oil add samosa and deep fry it untill golden brown , drain them in kitchen tissue.
  12. Deep Fry all somosa , serve with green chutney and sauce .
  13. For green chutney,
  14. Chopped green chillies and add garlic and blend fine add salt , drops of lemon juice and mix it with spoon and serve tangy spicy green chutney with samosa .
