Ingredients to make Bread pudding

  • Milk, preferably full cream 750 ml
  • sugar 125 grams
  • eggs 4
  • almonds 10-15 soaked and chopped
  • raisins 15-20 pieces
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • 4 slices of medium bread

How to make Bread pudding

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar till it becomes fluffy. Brush the baking dish with a little butter
  2. Lay the bread pieces on it, cover them with milk and put the tray aside.
  3. Pour milk in a bowl, add the beaten eggs and sugar. Mix well.
  4. Take a tbsp of sugar and caramelize it (heat it on a stove till it turns brown). Add it to the mixture once.
  5. Now stir the milk mixture and pour it on top of the soaked bread in the baking tray.
  6. Add the almonds and raisins, let them blend in the mixture. Add a tsp of vanilla essence.
  7. Place the baking dish in a pre heated oven. Set the oven on medium and let it bAke for 20 to 30 mins. It is better to check after 20 mins. It is better to check after 20 mins. Check the. Insistence with a fork.
