Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Urad dal 1 cup
  2. Moong dal 1 cup
  3. Rice flour 1/2 cup
  4. All purpose flour 1/2 cup
  5. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  6. Chili powder 4 tablespoon
  7. White sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
  8. Jeera 1 tablespoon
  9. Salt per taste
  10. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook urad dal and moong dal until soft
  2. In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix to form smooth dough neither soft nor stiff
  3. Grease chakli mould. Add the mixture to the mould, press the chakli on butter paper
  4. Carefully slide in hot oil and deep fry the chakkuli until golden brown. Drain excess oil
  5. Store in air tight container, serve
