Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Flour – 2 cups
  2. Fenugreek leaves – 1 cup , finely chopped
  3. Amla ( gooseberry) 2 grated
  4. Oil – 1 tablespoon
  5. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  6. Salt – as per taste
  7. Oil – To fry

Instructions

  1. Add wheat flour in a bowl. Mix salt, cumin seed, 1 tablespoon oil, grated (Amla) gooseberry and fenugreek with flour. Now mix sufficient water and knead a soft dough. Rest dough covered for 30 minutes
  2. Divide dough into equal portions. Shape each into small pooris. Deep fry pooris until golden brown
  3. Serve hot with potato masala, chutney or your favorite curry.
