ABOUT Crispy Dal Puri RECIPE

Many of the people would not be impressed if we serve them the leftover food. But most of us know that leftover food taste even better the second day, So stop flushing your hard earned money down the drain. You can make some really delicious stuff with leftover food. By using such leftover food “Tomato Dal” in Jai Ki Rasoi Se made “Crispy Dal Puri” and serve it hot with any pickle or curds

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat Flour (Atta) - 1 Cup
  2. Leftover Dal - 1 Cup
  3. Semolina ( Suji) - 2 Table Spoon
  4. Finely Chopped Green Coriander (Barik Kata Hara Dhaniya) - 1 Bunch
  5. Finely Chopped Mint Leave (Barik Kata Pudina) - 1 Bunch
  6. Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Barik Kati Hari Mirch) - 1 Table Spoon
  7. Chat Masala - 1 Table Spoon
  8. Ginger & Garlic Paste (Adrak & Lasoon Paste) - I Table Spoon
  9. Finely Chopped Onions (Barik Kati Pyaz) - 1 Medium Size
  10. Oil - 2 Table Spoon to add in the dough
  11. Oil (Tel) - For Frying as per your requirement
  12. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add all- wheat flour, ginger garlic paste, finely chopped green chillies green coriander, mint leaves & onions, chat masala, oil, leftover dal and salt according to taste. Mix all the ingredients
  2. By adding water as per requirement knead and make a dough. Rest the dough for 20 minutes
  3. Divide the dough in equal portion.
  4. With the rolling pin make Puri and keep aside
  5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan or kadai. Once the oil is hot, add puri. Fry them till they turn golden brown.
  6. Now dish is ready to be served hot with curds and pickle
