i m a great gongura lover. i have tasted many varieties of gongura dishes with chicken and i thought i will try it this way as gongura leaves are very tangy. if you are a tangy and a spicy this is the perfect dish for you,

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. gongura leaves 75 grams
  2. chicken 500 grams
  3. green chillies 2
  4. olive oil or ghee for frying
  5. pepper corns 1 tbsp
  6. hung curd 1 tbsp
  7. garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  8. salt
  9. lemon 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. add all the ingredients except the oil and grind into a thick paste.
  2. take a ziplock bag. add chicken and the ingredients. marinate and mix nicely for 5 minutes.
  3. marinate the chicken really well at least for 6 hours or overnight.
  4. Take a grilling pan, add a tsp of ghee and slow fry it in low flame for 25-30 minutes.
  5. you can brush it off with olive oil. this tastes great with all kinds of sauce. my personal favourite is raunch sauce.
