Saffron Cardamom Marble Cake is unique in its aroma and taste.The aroma of cardamom and natural yellow colour of saffron makes its more tempting.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour 1.5 cup
  2. Baking Powder 1.5 tsp
  3. Sugar 1/2 cup
  4. Condensed Milk 100ml
  5. Milk 3/4 cup
  6. Oil 1/4 cup
  7. Cardamom Powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Few Saffron Strands dissolved in 1tbsp milk
  9. Green Food Colour 1drop

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven at 170 degree for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare cake pan /loaf pan by greasing the pan with butter and then dust it with flour.
  3. Sieve all dry ingredients for atleast 3 times to make it light and airy.
  4. In a pot add milk and cardamom powder,sugar.Boil it for good 1 to 2 minutes,so that sugar gets dissolved and flavour of cardamom get infused in milk properly.
  5. In a bowl,beat condensed milk and oil till with it becomes smooth.To this add milk - caradamom mixture.Mix it well.
  6. Now add dry flour mix to it slowly slowly.Mix it with soft hands .There must be no lumps.
  7. Now take 2 bowls.Scoop out some cake mixture in both bowls.Quantity depends on you your wish.No hard and fasr rule.In one bowl add safforn milk mixture and give a good stir.In another bowl add little food grade green color and mix it well
  8. Now we have 3 color cake mix ready.cream,saffron and green cake mix
  9. Now pour the cake mix one by one in a dusted prepared cake pan.First pour the cream color cake mix and smooth it flat.Over it, pour saffron cake mix and then then green colour cake mix.
  10. Bake at 170 degree for 25 minutes or till the skewer comes clean.
