Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For dough-
  2. Wheat flour – 2 cups
  3. Oil – 1 tablespoon
  4. Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
  5. Water – as required
  6. for soya keema 
  7. Asafoetida- a pinch
  8. Red chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
  9. Garam masala 1/2 tep
  10. Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Amchoor powder 1/2 tsp
  12. coriander powder 1 tsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp chopped
  15. soya chunks – 1 cup
  16. capsicum – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
  17. onion – 1 medium, finely chopped
  18. cumin seeds or jeera – 1/2 teaspoon
  19. green chili – 1, finely chopped
  20. ginger – 1/2 teaspoon, grated

Instructions

  1. IN 2 CUPS OF WHEAT FLOUR, ADD 1/2 TSP SALT, 1 TSP OIL
  2. ADD WATER LITTLE BY LITTLE AND KNEAD IT
  3. APPLY SOME OIL, KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINS
  4. FOR STUFFING- IN 2 CUPS OF WATER, ADD 1 CUP SOYA CHUNKS, BOIL
  5. STRAIN THE BOILED CHUNKS, RINSE IN COLD WATER
  6. SQUEEZE OUT THE EXCESS WATER & ADD THE SOYA CHUNKS TO A MIXER JAR
  7. GIVE ONE PULSE
  8. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL IN A PAN, ADD A PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA, 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP OF GINGER, 1 CHOPPED ONION,
  10. ADD 1/2 CUP CHOPPED CAPSICUM, 1 GREEN CHILLI, SAUTE
  11. ADD 1/4 TSP PEPPER, 1/2 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI & DRY MANGO POWDERS
  12. ADD 1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER, SALT TO TASTE & MIX
  13. ADD THE MINCED SOYA, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA, MIX & TAKE OFF HEAT
  14. COOL, ADD 1/4 CUP FRESH CORIANDER & MIX
  15. TAKE A BALL OF THE DOUGH, ROLL OUT INTO A SMALL CIRCLE
  16. PLACE 2 TBSP OF STUFFING AND SEAL IT
  17. DUST WITH FLOUR, ROLL INTO A MEDIUM THICK CIRCLE
  18. COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT ON A HOT, GREASED TAVA
  19. COOK TILL BROWN SPOTS APPEAR ON BOTH SIDES
  20. APPLY GHEE ON THE PARANTHA
  21. TAKE OUT IN A PLATE
