Ingredients to make Beetroot net pie

  • For the Pie:
  • 1 and 1/2 cup maida
  • 1 egg
  • 1 boiled beet root paste
  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • For the filling: Oil for cooking
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3-4 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1/2 cup of Boiled Vegetables(mushrooms,carrot,baby corn,colourful pepper,broccoli and sweet corn) or left vegetables
  • Chicken cubes boiled 1/2 cup
  • For the sauce: 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 tsp mustard sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1 green chilli paste
  • A tsp of Salt
  • Fresh thyme leaves and coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to make Beetroot net pie

  1. To make the pie dough, in a mixing bowl add all the ingredients and make a medium thick dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes in the fridge to set.
  2. To make the sauce, in a mixing bowl add all the sauce ingredients and mix it well. Keep aside.
  3. To make the filling, in a pan pour in oil, add the onion, garlic and saute. Now add the chicken cubes when it is slightly cooked, then add all the vegetables, salt and pepper and saute it. Then add fresh coriander leaves and thyme in it.
  4. Now make pie of dough, set in the pie dish, spread the sauce in it and the filled vegetables. Bake it in the preheated oven for 170-180 degrees celsisu for 45-50 mins or till its done.
  5. Now the beetroot net pie is ready to be eaten and served hot.
