It is one of the royal cuisine of Rajasthan which is famous for its taste and uniqueness since ages. Tourists visting Rajasthan never miss it. Kachori with kadhi is traditional way of serving our guests.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For dough :
  2. Maida - 2 cup
  3. Salt - 1 tsp
  4. Ajwain - 1 tsp
  5. Oil - 1/4th cup
  6. For stuffing :
  7. Moong dal - 1 tbspn
  8. Urad dal - 1 tsp
  9. Soak the above both dal for half an hour
  10. Besan - 1 cup
  11. Salt - 1tsp
  12. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  13. Garam masala - 1 tsp
  14. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  15. Ginger powder - 1/2 tsp
  16. Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  17. Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  18. Jeera - 1 tsp
  19. Sabut dhaniya - 1 tsp
  20. Sauf - 1 tsp
  21. Hing - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned for dough and knead it properly and keep aside.
  2. Mix all the dry masala in little amount of water. Now take 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and add jeera, sabut dhania, sauf and hing.
  3. Add besan and when it turns golden, add dry masala, urad Dal and moong dal. Cook for 5 minutes. Make kachori using the stuffing and a small dough and deep fry it.
  4. Make kadhi according to your own taste
  5. Now serve kachori with kadhi.
