ABOUT Cheesy Munch RECIPE

This one my daughter loves. When you bite into this you get a crunch with yummy cheese. It is a yummy party starter which I have given my own touch.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For dough
  2. 2 cup maida
  3. 1/2 cup Milk
  4. 1 tsp sugar
  5. 1 tsp+4 tsp oil
  6. 1 tbsp yeast
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Water to make soft dough
  9. Dry flour for dusting n rolling the dough
  10. Oil for greasing
  11. For stuffing
  12. 1 cup of chopped carrot, cabbage and capsicum
  13. 1 tsp oil+1 tsp butter
  14. 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  15. 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  16. 1 tsp mixed herb
  17. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  18. 2 cheese cubes grated
  19. Aluminium foil
  20. Oil to grease foil
  21. For Garnishing
  22. Mixed herb

Instructions

  1. Mix milk, sugar, a pinch of salt and 1tsp oil with yeast for 10 mins. It will double in size, add this to flour, salt and the rest of the oil.
  2. Mix well and add water, knead to a soft dough. Preheat oven for 10 min at 250 degree.
  3. Grease dough with oil and dust dry flour on the dough. Cover this with wet cloth n keep inside the oven for proofing for 4 hrs. It doubles in size after proofing.
  4. For stuffing part, heat oil and butter. When butter start melting add chopped veggies and saute for a min. Add the rest of the ingredients to this except cheese. Cool down the stuff
  5. Now remove the dough after proofing and make dumplings out of this. Dust with dry flour and roll it. Place the stuffing at one end. Grate half of cheese on stuffing and roll it .
  6. Now cut into 1 inch thickness circles. Now cover baking tray with foil and grease it with oil. Place these roundels on the tray and keep inside oven for 1 hour again for proofing.
  7. It again doubles in size. Now remove tray and again preheat oven for 10 min at 200 degree. Bake the circles for 7 min, then grate rest cheese on them and bake for 5 min.
  8. Sprinkle mixed herb on it n serve this cheesy munch...
