This is a delicious recipe of kachori stuffed with potatoes, this is a filling and yummy breakfast recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. All purpose flour / maida - 1 cup
  2. Carom seeds / ajwain - a pinch
  3. Salt - to taste
  4. Oil - 1 cup
  5. Water - as required
  6. For the filling
  7. Boiled potatoes - 4
  8. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  9. Chopped green chilly - 2
  10. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  12. Cumin seeds - a pinch
  13. Salt - to taste
  14. Oil - 1 tsp
  15. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tsp

Instructions

  2. Add little water at a time and knead into a soft dough.
  3. Keep aside for 15 mins
  4. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Add cumin seeds to crackle.
  7. Add mashed potatoes,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt,green chilly and coriander leaves and mix well.
  8. Saute for 4 - 5 mins
  9. Now stuffing is ready.
  10. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  11. Stuff the filling in the dough and roll into balls.
  12. In a pan heat the oil and add the kachori lower the heat and fry till light brown. Serve hot.
