Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Yam -1/4 kg
  2. Tamarind - small lemon size
  3. Oil- 2 tsp
  4. Mustard+ methi seeds-1 tsp
  5. Onion- 1,chopped
  6. Garlic pods- 4
  7. Curry leaves
  8. Kuzhambu masala powder- 1&1/tsp
  9. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. COOK YAM PIECES IN TAMARIND JUICE
  2. HEAT OIL, ADD MUSTARD, METHI SEEDS
  3. ADD CHOPPED ONION, GARLIC & CURRY LEAVES
  4. ADD KUZHAMBU MASALA POWDER
  5. ADD THE COOKED YAM ALONG WITH TAMARIND JUICE
  6. DILUTE WITH SOME WATER.ADD SALT
  7. ALLOW IT TO BOIL
  8. WHEN IT GETS THICKEN SWITCH OFF
