ABOUT Jowar (Great Millet) Crepe or Ghavan RECIPE

Great Millet or Sorghum is popularly known as jawari in Maharashtra, Goa. It is one of the Indian staple food and consumed in various forms like Bhakari, Dosa, ghavan etc. It is healthy, highly nutritious and contains high amount of protein; fiber; the B vitamins niacin, thiamin and vitamin B6; and several dietary minerals. I have prepared ghavan or crepe using great millet. It need to soak properly at least for 12-14 hrs. It goes well with spicy tomato chutney or any curry.
