Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. I). For the Pattie 
  2. Boiled potatoes mash: 4
  3. Wet and pat dry Brown bread slices: 2
  4. Soaked Poha/flatten rice puffs: 2 tbsp 
  5. Salt, white pepper, Mexican spice mix or Italian herbs: as per taste 
  6. Plain flour and dried bread crumb mix in equal ratio for dusting 
  7. Oil for greasing palms
  8. II. For the filling
  9. Parboiled peas slightly Mashed: 1/2 cup
  10. Chopped deseeded tomato: 1
  11. Grated ginger: 1 tsp 
  12. Lemon juice: 1/2 lemon 
  13. Salt, white pepper and Oregano as per your taste
  14. Cheddar cheese or any easily melt version: 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Mix all the filling ingredients and keep aside. 
  2. Mix all the pattie ingredients except oil, bread and Crumb mix.
  3. Grease your palms with little oil and flatten patty mix. 
  4. Spoon the filling in
  5. Shape in round Tikki sealing the filling inside. 
  6. Dust these Tikki on a plate with dried brown bread crumb and wheat flour.
  7. Pat to remove excess dust.
  8. Airfry them at preheated 200° for 15 min. 
  9. Once golden brown, remove them for serving
  10. Cut them in halves and serve with any dip of your kids choice like tomato ketchup, salsa, curd cucumber dip, mint dip
