ABOUT Krauy tod RECIPE

Five minutes is all you need to make this & its gone literally under two minutes & no I am not kidding. It turns out that good & it’s so quick that you can do the basic prep work for the batter beforehand when hosting a huge crowd. But since its deep fried, it needs to be cooked minutes before serving.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ripe :banana: bananas 4 no
  2. :custard: custard powder 50gm
  3. Rice flour 20gm
  4. Refined flour 20gm
  5. Salt 2gm
  6. Lime 1no
  7. Oil for frying
  8. Pwd. Sugar

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine rice flour, custard powder and salt.
  2. Add enough :droplet: water to make a smooth batter that is somewhat thick. Add lime zest and mix well.
  3. Peel :banana: bananas and split them lengthwise into half and then again breath wise into halves. Coat the bananas with refined flour. Dip the bananas in the batter.
  4. In a deep skillet, heat oil to 180°c.
  5. Place :banana: bananas in the oil slowly and carefully. Fry two at a time, until they are crisp and golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to absorb the oil
  6. To serve, arrange :banana: bananas on plate and sprinkle with sugar. Garnish with lime wedges
